What should I wear for a formal corporate photography headshot session? The most important thing is that you want to show your professionalism and your personality and create consistency within the brand. When selecting an outfit for a corporate photography headshot session, it's important to remember that you want to project a professional image. Here are some tips on what to wear: Stick to neutral or muted colours: Dark colours like navy blue, charcoal grey, or black work well for business attire. White, light blue or light grey work well as well. Avoid very bright or neon colours as they can be distracting. Dress conservatively: Choose clothing that is not too revealing, and avoid flashy or trendy outfits. You want your clothing to be classic and timeless. Keep it simple: Avoid busy patterns or prints. Solid colours or subtle patterns work best. Accessorise sparingly: A simple necklace or pair of earrings is fine, but avoid wearing anything too flashy or distracting. Ensure your clothing fits well: Ill-fitting clothing can make you appear unprofessional. Make sure your clothing is tailored to fit you properly. Consider the company's style: If the company has a specific dress code or style, try to dress in a way that aligns with it. Remember, a corporate photography headshot aims to project a professional image and show off your personality, and the company's brand so choose clothing that is conservative, simple, and fits well.

What should I wear for a more casual business photography headshot session? The most important thing about your outfit is that it needs to show off your personality and the industry you work in. You can still dress professionally for a casual business headshot session but with a slightly more relaxed and comfortable vibe. Here are some tips for what to wear: Choose comfortable and breathable fabrics that fit well and make you feel confident. You can opt for cotton or linen shirts or blouses. Add a pop of colour to your outfit, but avoid anything too loud or bold. A colourful shirt, scarf, or tie can add interest to your photo. If you wear a jacket or blazer, wear a casual style such as denim or linen jacket. Avoid overly casual or sloppy clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies, or athletic wear unless this is what you always wear. Accessorise with minimal and tasteful jewellery, such as a simple necklace or earrings. Ensure your clothes are clean and ironed, as any wrinkles or stains can detract from your overall appearance. I can do some retouching in Photoshop... Consider your industry and the image you want to project. If you work in a creative field, you may be able to get away with a more casual outfit, but if you work in a more traditional field, you may want to opt for a slightly dressier look. Remember, the key is to look professional and put-together while still being comfortable and true to your personal style and personality.

It's just for me. Do I really need a professional corporate headshot?Whether or not you need a professional headshot depends on the context in which you plan to use it. If you are applying for a job or creating a professional profile, a high-quality headshot can help you make an excellent first impression on potential employers or clients. It can also convey that you take your professional image seriously and are invested in your business or career. A professional photographer can help show your true personality in a photograph, and this will help you grow your brand and image.
